Are you in for a traditional Italian culinary experience? Together we will prepare a delicious typical Italian 3 course meal. We will have selected regional wines and some old school Italian coffee, “ammazza-caffè” (and dont forget about the grappa or amaro). I will teach you all about my favourite recipes and local cuisine, tell you the story behind the products, and let you taste the Italian flavours of my childhood that I loved so much. Learn how to cook a number of basic (cause less, is definitely more, in Italy) and advanced Italian dishes as well as secret techniques that make Italian cuisine so rich and delicious. I was born in Hungary, my mother is Italian and is an excellent cook, she taught me the most ancient secrets of Italian cooking, I studied at the Berti Culinary School in Verona then I got a BA from VSZKI in Sopron, then I worked in a Italian restaurant in Munich Germany where my uncle Giorgio was head chef from him I got the love for good cooking. In 1998 I moved to Florence where I got married. For a few years I was head chef at the Antica Posta di San Casciano then I choose to be independent, so I opened a cooking school. I really like cooking and teaching others to cook, I love the human contact that is very intense and spontaneous in the kitchen, now I have been doing this for 9 years and I am still full of enthusiasm and passion.

Cooking lessons are given in the ancient kitchen of Villa Saladini a Renaissance villa from the 16th century in Impruneta in the Chianti Area 15 Km from Florence. Our kitchen is very special with its large fireplace in pietra serena and its wooden ceiling a kitchen rich in history and flavors.
