No tickets to the Anne Frank House? Enjoy an even richer experience in the exclusive Virtual Reality tour of the Anne Frank House! To make Anne’s story come full-circle, we will also explore her life before she went into hiding. We start at my favorite local Amsterdam cafes to get to know each other over a coffee (or beer). You'll get a great first-hand look and feel of where Anne was in hiding in Virtual Reality. Unlike the over-crowded museum you have the house all to yourself with us. We even provide exclusive access to the secret attic. With the sounds of planes flying over, you feel as if you were there. After the VR experience, we go outside. We pass by her old home, her playground, the local synagogue, and the elementary school where she laid the foundation for her iconic writing. This tour really makes Anne Frank come to life. Find out the true life of this young girl who went into history as one of the greatest social activists of the world. At the nearby synagogue you learn more about the current Jewish community in the city and how it has developed after the war. Throughout our time I provide Jewish historical background to put all the stories into context.
Together with Lloyd and Guido I am running this unique, personal, and engaging experience. (private tours also possible) I combine my deep historical knowledge with years of experience in public speaking. He has lived in Amsterdam for 11 years. Guido was born and raised in Amsterdam, right next to the Anne Frank House. He combines his passion for the city with a life of writing theater, comedy, music, and screenplays. Lloyd has lived in Amsterdam all his life and loves showing people the hidden gems of the city. His interactive style makes for an engaging experience.
