Without getting too far from Barcelona we can make a unique walking tour through the wonderful surroundins of the mountains of Bertí following the cliffs that wind along the gorges of the Tenes river. This hike offers us an unconventional vision of this surprising site, whose fauna and flora deserve special attention for its variety and beauty. Along the way we will be able to appreciate the presence of wild boars, eagles, hawks and owls, as well as reptiles that populate the river banks. Our trek will begin in the town of Riells del Fai and we will follow the course of the Tenes River until we reach the magnificent Bauma Rosa with its waterfall, which will leave us speechless. The route will be linear, about 5.5 km, with a positive slope of 80 m, classified as a route suitable for all levels and ages, provided you have a minimum habit of walking. The total duration of the trip, from the departure from Barcelona to the return, is five hours, but the tour itself lasts three hours, including stops and rest to enjoy the surroundings. If the excursion is done in summer, ideal time for this, we can enjoy a refreshing swim in the various natural pools that the site offers us. At the end of the walk, we will go around the town and have a refreshing drink in one of the charming bars of the place before returning to Barcelona.

Being mountain guides, We've always loved nature and everything related to it. Therefore, we enjoy sharing with others what nature really means and the many experiences it conveys. To us, sea and mountain go always together, intertwined, and their very secrets await us to be discovered. Moreover, we have a long experience in everything related to mountain activities, as well as in hiking, rock climbing, via ferrata, canyoning and so on. We are four different guides, Andrew, Amalia, Elena and Marc. The 4 of us are professionals and lovers of our work and natural environment.
At just 45 minutes from Barcelona we are able to see the gorges of the Tenes River, the pools created by its riverbed, the cliffs of Bertí and, finally, the town of Riells del Fai, which is located in the region of Vallés Oriental, at the bottom of these cliffs and by the monastery of Sant Miquel del Fai.
It is important to wear appropriate footwear to ride the mountain. In summer you can bring a swimsuit and towel to be able to bathe in the river pools. Bring sunscreen to avoid sunburn, and something to eat (snacks).
