See Bangkok in a different light as we explore this vibrant Asian capital by night. Gone are the surging crowds and frenetic market activities which dominate the daytime hours. Instead, you will discover a festival of illumination within the relative tranquility of the cool evening air. Traditional Chinese street lanterns mixed with multi-colored shop signs create a sublime ambiance as evening diners replaced motorized commuters on Chinatown’s main thoroughfares. Although less hurried, there is still plenty to see as we visit Bangkok’s largest flower market, rising to full bloom during the night. Riding alongside the Chao Phraya River, we will see a scattering of vessels traversing the night waters as magical views of the Memorial Bridge, the Grand Palace, and Bangkok’s ever expanding skyline fill the horizon. Quieter, cooler, and beautifully lit with a potpourri of colors, Bangkok by night is an experience not to be missed. Join us and see why this is quickly becoming one of our most popular tours.
As Co founder me, together with Audrey, Prem and Bobby continue the legacy of Co van Kessel, who sadly passed away in 2012. He was an innovative and adventurous man, pioneered bicycle tours in Bangkok more than 30 years ago. Making it his goal to re-discover Bangkok, Co spent thousands of hours on his mountain bike exploring the vast network of local streets, alleyways, footpaths and canals between the main urban thoroughfares. What he found, lurking behind the facade of modernisation, were hidden worlds of peace and tranquility, a picture of “real” Bangkok life that has remained unchanged for countless decades. His routing and philosophy transformed what was once an eccentric diversion into one of Bangkok’s most unique and inspirational travel experiences that we are proud to offer guests from all over the world.
My mission is to provide our guests with a singularly unique travel experience in Thailand. All our experiences use Co’s extensive topographical knowledge of the greater Bangkok area as well as his keen eye for the interesting to take you where nobody else can or will.
