Meet me to explore the provençal market; a feast for all the senses that is a must for any trip to Aix-en-Provence. Soak up it's vibrancy, luminosity and ambiance. It's a typical provençal market offering a mouth watering selection of fruits,
vegetables, and goodies from the South such as olives, tapenade and lavender honey.
We will then go off the beaten track where I will guide you around the local artisans where we will taste regional products including patisseries, cheeses and local wine.
We'll wander the narrow streets of the historical center and you'll discover charming town squares and romantic fountains. We'll savor the local delicacy; Calisson - a product originating from Aix itself!
To top off the experience we'll finish with an aperitif next to a fountain with a delicious mezze* and local wine.
*Sunday aperitif will be a selection of cheeses and rosé wine

Just come with a bottle of water.
You need to be 18 to consume alcohol on the tour.
Let me know if you have any allergies or if you can't drink wine.

Claudine is a very special person. Her tour is not only about food but also the culture and history of Aix en Provence. Her knowledge of the food and her relationship with the vendors made the experience truly personal and special. What a wonderful, worthwhile addition to our trip! After a week in France exploring on our own, it was such a refreshment to have someone to follow and learn from. Claudine knows her way around Aix very well, knows all the local stories, best shops and market retailers. It felt like a good friend showing you around their city rather than a stiff tour guide and we are so thankful for the opportunity to learn from Claudine! She made it easy to feel comfortable in the city and answered all the random questions I had - it was a delight to spend time with her! I can not recommend this tour enough!

Thank you Claudine for a wonderful tour of the delicious food and drink in Aix. Claudine was warm, friendly and very knowledgeable about local producers and their fabulous produce. We tried wonderful coffee, pastries, tapenades, dips, jams, honeys, nougat, callisons, pissaladiere, a very special chocolate cake, local wine and cheeses. An exhausting list but the tour wasn’t - perfectly paced with time stop and savour the treats. Claudine also pointed out many shops and restaurants where good food could be bought and/or eaten. A must do tour for anyone visiting Aix!

Ottimo tour. Claudine è simpatica e disponibile. Disponibile a comunicare in ingkese e francese ed a venirci incontro. Aix è una cittadina molto gradevole. Molto buoni tutti gli assaggi. Claudine ha anche adattato l' esperienza al giorno festivo. Ci è piaciuto molto.
