体験できること
You’ll be at my home for two hours, where I’ll show you the steps of your favorite dance. We’ll dance to the rhythms of Cuba and Latin America, like salsa, kizomba, reggaeton, and bachata—whichever you prefer. Later, I’ll take you to a very pleasant restaurant in Havana, where you will be surrounded by good Cuban music. After a very good meal we will go to one of the most popular nightclub for salsa in Havana and.... dance!!!
Other things to note
It is very important to wear comfortable and fresh clothes, as well as comfortable shoes. You can bring your camera and energy drinks.

I am a computer science graduate who has been passionate about dance since I was fifteen. I mastered some of the most popular dances of Cuba and Latin America, thanks to the time I danced in an excellent Cuban dance company. Now I’m a freelance dance teacher, and I would love to share what I have learned with everyone who loves dancing as much as I do.

We will be at my home in Panamerican Village. Then we will take a stroll along Obispo, a popular street in Old Havana. Later, we’ll dance at one of the best nightclubs of our city.

アクセスについて、スペイン語ができない人が、一人でOld Havanaから公共交通機関(フェリーとバスで2CUC)だけでYaneの家に行くのは難しいです。タクシー(多分15CUCくらい)で行けば、Old Havanaから15分くらいで着くので、タクシーを使えば良かったと思いました。

Yane was very patient with me despite my two left feet! She taught us to salsa, took us to dinner, and then we went out to dance. Great music, beautiful venue, and it’s inspired me to take more salsa classes at home. We met up with her again on another night (this wasn’t an official part of the experience - it was very generous of Yane to share this with us!) to go to a salsa dance party for locals, and met some of her friends. I can’t wait to go back and show her what I’ve learned the next time I get to Cuba!

I instantly felt connected with Yane. I fell in love with her warmth, passion and genuine care for people, and her love for Salsa, the Cuban people and life. Yane provides the optimum experience for you to learn and enjoy an evening of Salsa. Yane is very patient, which my partner needed, and works with all levels and will not give up on you. We learned the basic count and some dance "figures" at her house. We went for a delicious meal then put our lessons into motion at a dance club. The party was nice, everyone was friendly and Yane knew a lot of people. Everyone was also experienced dancers. We felt a little out of place with our basic skills but Yane danced with us...we were able to get some practice in. I suggest Yane when looking for Salsa dance lessons in Cuba.

Yane is a wonderful teacher. She spent time teaching the women & then spent time teaching my husband after her male friend taught him. My husband was having difficulty & Yane was really great with him. She had a really nice man friend who assisted her in dancing with the women & then she danced with my husband.
Yane had suggested we could meet at our appointment in Havana. I had been afraid our place might have been to small but after seeing Yane’s place, it would have been fine. It was about the same size & would have been fine. Yane’s apartment is about 20 minutes outside of the city so it might be more convenient for her to visit your place with her music.
We were an hour late because we were at another experience that lasted longer than we expected & was also far away in a different direction.
I was sorry we didn’t cancel our time eating dinner together. The restaurant was fair, we weren’t hungry & I would have preferred a longer lesson since we had lost the extra hour. I had thought we were going to decide after the first hour but the taxi arrived and our choice was gone.
We did enjoy visiting with Yane & her friend at the restaurant which was interesting & fun. We also really loved the hor d’oeuvre.
The rooftop experience never happened because it rained & the place was to crowded to dance in. Instead we went to the outside bottom area where there was live music. We danced with Yane a little because her friend left. We mostly talked.
A few days later we went back & danced at the rooftop bar & had a fabulous time. So I’m grateful Yane showed us a special place. When we went back, many people asked us to dance & we had fun.
Our time with Yane had a lot of mishaps. However she is a great instructor & the place we were supposed to go to was fabulous when we returned. Our experience wasn’t perfect, but we still enjoyed it & used some of what we learned in our music experience & when we went dancing. Because of this, I rated our experience a 4 star.
