This experience is a historical journey in Amsterdam's background during the most destructive conflict in history. I 'll reveal you the most significant war memories through the city's most important sights and memorials.
We ll review in-depth how Amsterdam was affected in WWII, what happen after
the Nazi's invasion, the struggle of the Dutch nation, how the Jews persecution and deportation was planned, the role of the Jewish council, the development of the resistance, what cause the Dutch famine during the winter 1944/45, the Dam square shooting massacre, the arrival of the allies, the liberation by the Canadian troops and eventually how the country cope after the liberation.
An intriguing experience for history enthusiasts.

- This tour is a light activity walking in a normal pace, accesible to wheelchair.
- I provide rental wheelchair service for people who are injured or
have walking related issues, it is available upon request, not included in the tour price
- Tour is not suitable for kids under 10 year old
