Working out on the water and having FUN in the sun! You will learn the basics of paddle boarding. How to get on and off the board. Learn proper paddling technique. We will then build on what you have learned and venture out to explore the waters of Mission Bay. We will also go over basic exercise movements on land before transitioning to doing them on the board while floating on the water. Some previous paddle board experience will be beneficial but not necessary.
My name is Kyle and I have been living in Pacific Beach San Diego for the past 8 years. I grew up on a lake in Pennsylvania and have been consumed with water sports my entire life, and rowed competitively through college. I am also a certified personal trainer and strength and conditioning coach. I have decided to combine my 2 passions and offer a unique experience of working out on the water. There is something about being on the water that is very calming and refreshing. I love to share my passions of working out and paddle boarding on the water, with others who want to be a part of the experience.
Paddle Board & Paddle
Will will start out at Fanuel Street Park with an on land lesson and then venture out on to the waters of Mission Bay. You will see the shorelines of Pacific Beach and Mission Beach while paddling around and performing the workout.
swimsuit or athletic clothing that can get wet
Ideally you will be comfortable around the water and not afraid of getting wet. Paddle board experience is not necessary but it will be beneficial. Comfort with basic exercise movements will also be beneficial. Be prepared to have fun, smile, laugh, and get a little sweaty workout in.
