Heading straight to Beautiful Red Rock Canyon, this historic saloon tour's first stop is at the scenic overlook for photos and a little historical perspective. Then it's up the hill to the Mountain Springs Saloon for a beverage of choice, a short tour of the grounds and some fun and games. Down the other side of the mountain, and across the open desert on an old gravel road, we'll make our way to the historic and haunted Pioneer Saloon (est. 1913) in the old mining town of Goodsprings, Nv. Enjoy another drink (or two) along with a hot lunch, stories of ghosts, card cheats, a plane crash, and maybe even a little live entertainment in this wonderful remnant of the American West, before returning to Las Vegas.
I'm one of the few people you'll meet that has lived in Las Vegas for 50+ years. I know and love it's peculiar history, and have explored the beautiful mountains, desert and historic saloons that lie just beyond it's borders for many years. Over the years I've been a bartender, bar owner, and a cruise ship entertainer (taking, and sometimes giving, tours all over the world).
A hot lunch will be served at our last stop.
You will travel in a specially outfitted van (10 people max), both on the highway and down a gravel road.
The allure and beauty of Red Rock Canyon embedded itself in me as a young boy. This a place that was once home to cowboys, rustlers, explorers, and Native Americans. The spirit of America lives on in it's roadhouses, and the Mountain Springs Saloon is one of the best. Old West Saloons are far and few between, and I feel very fortunate to be able to show you this historic gem and all of it's curiosities. The desert is it's own experience.
21歳以上の方10名まで参加できます。 I recommend that you eat breakfast. Lunch is not until around 1:30.
Much of the tour is at a higher elevations than Las Vegas is. A coat is advisible during the colder months.
Your tour will never have more than 10 people, and maybe it'll be just you and me. I truly feel that this a rare opportunity to experience something that most locals don't even know exists. Experiences like this are why people travel!
