If you don't see your preferred date available for this experience, please inquire. I try to accommodate every request I can. We'll take a drive to Death Valley NP. Drive is long, but quite scenic. Cell service is spotty so you'll be able to completely unplug, be present, enjoy the scenery and recharge. Our first stop is the lowest dry point in the US. You'll have a chance to take a short walk and take few pictures. There is a sign on the mountain, which a lot of people miss, that shows where the sea level is. Next, we'll stop at the most colorful part of the park, which many people will only see from the distance because they'll miss the hidden turn on a one way drive to it. You will be amazed by all the colorful rocks. We'll continue on to Zabriskie Point, one of the most iconic views of Death Valley. We'll take a short walk here. Next, we'll drive on a dirt road, through moon like landscape with barely any traffic through there. This, to me, is the most peaceful place in the Park. Our last stop takes us to about 5500' above sea level. From here, you'll have a great view of the basin below. Depending on the season, there could be road closures due to road damage from rain and flash flood. Due to regulatory issues (crossing state lines) you have to provide your own transportation. SUV or truck is preferred, sedan will work also. We will caravan from our meeting place.
Hi, I've lived in Las Vegas since 2006 and always enjoyed taking day trips. I took my first trip to Death Valley few years back during the "Superbloom" and been going back multiple times a year ever since. It's a huge place, you could spend a whole week here. About a year ago I had friends in town who asked me about Death Valley. I couldn't take them myself so I wrote a very detailed itinerary for them. Later I got an exciting email from them thanking me. In the beginning they didn't quite understand why I wrote it the way I did, but they followed it. They said, at the end, it all made sense and it was one of the best trips they ever took. This inspired me to share this experience with others. If your preferred date for this experience isn't available, please inquire, I try to accommodate every request I can.
