First let me say that most Gangster Tours in New York City are total BS- This experience comes right from the “horse’s mouth” no tour guide no filter. Get the real stories while visiting notorious gangland locations as we walk from the East Village to Little Italy experiencing what it was like to be an associate of New York's famous families. You'll hear first hand accounts of the NYC Mafia and crimes in NYC and taste the local cuisines. We will visit Crime Family member hang-outs where they ate, partied and ran their elusive "family businesses". Visit the locations tour companies don’t even know exist. See the former Gambino headquarters "The Ravenite Social Club" and more. We meet at a famous mafia “red sauce joint” est 1908.. We'll top it off with a full-sized cannoli from one of Little Italy's iconic local pastry spots. We finish up in Little Italy where I ensure you know your way home and always offer my personal contact information and offer my assistance with reservations or things to do while you’re in NYC. To date we have hosted over 8,000 guests and have over 1,500 five-star ratings. This is not just another Mafia tour in New York.

I’m a retired NYPD Detective born and raised in Little Italy. I’ve consulted for TV and major film productions on both crime and law enforcement and have appeared on Law & Order. Experiences are hosted by me or retired NYPD Police Officers and Detectives that grew up with New York’s infamous crime families.

We will experience Italian foods at some of New York’s best eats while you walk with me through the East Village, Lower Eastside and Little Italy while tasting some of the best foods the city has to offer. Dress weather appropriate and wear comfortable shoes as this is a walking experience that runs rain or shine. It was a great way of seeing and hearing about that part of New York from someone who is a local and had knowledge / stories of what really happened. It was also like a food walking tour as we stopped by different restaurants / stores to try different and tasty food which helped keep us away from the crisp cold New York weather! It was good to have been provided with headphones so we could hear Dennis clearly and he didn't have to raise his voice.

This experience was truly the best AirBnB experience I've had to date. Dennis was incredibly knowledgeable, had entertaining and fascinating stories, and was well-known at the restaurants and shops that we stopped at. In no other way would I ever have found those restaurants or shops myself and they were of the best quality.
