LOCALS & TRAVELLERS BOTH WELCOMED! Have you ever come across an Airbnb Experience title and just raised your eyebrow(s) in confusion and general curiosity? Look no further, this is it! In this 1.5 hours, you will enjoy hand roasted coffee & fresh home baked cookies in the presence of 3 bunnies, 2 dogs, and 2 humans. The experience will hopefully go like this --> a few seconds? minutes? of awkward hi hellos, and maybe (crossing our fingers and toes), an hour or so of great conversation and furry snuggles! ☆20% of our earnings from this Experience will be donated to Regional Animal Protection Society in Richmond, where we adopted Hiro and Dutch☆
Your Experience hosts, Cammy and Tai, are a young millennial couple who enjoys meeting new people. Tai is an educator in the auto mechanics field and Cammy is a serial entrepreneur. We are both easygoing and enjoy entertaining and hosting, which is why we want to use this platform and event as an opportunity to strike good conversations amongst the presence of furry friendly animals! Are you a local? a traveller? here for a business trip? All are welcome! There is no set itinerary or agenda for this coffee chat. And really, no pressure to chat either-you're here for some animal therapy anyways!
It will usually be fresh baked cookies or baked goods of some sort (always home baked by us), but if you prefer a savoury…
Medium Roast French Press Coffee (roasted by us) or Tea (let me know what kinds of tea you prefer). If you want de-caffeinate…
Lint roller to remove all that fur!
You will be a welcomed guest at our house, located in Mt. Pleasant East Vancouver area. As our experience begins a bit after lunchtime, we recommend having lunch around the area first, like in the Little Saigon strip of Mt. Pleasant, where a bowl of authentic Vietnamese pho will surely hit the spot for you! Let us know if you would like any restaurant recommendations around the area.
Treat this like going to one of those hipster cat or dog cafés, but it's an even more intimate experience!
