Our story begins at The Plaza hotel located at 59th Street & Fifth Avenue. Exact meeting location is in front of the Pulitzer Fountain across the street. Before heading into Central Park, we'll make a special stop for a hot cocoa, coffee, or cold drink. Once inside the park, it's time to show-off the park's treasures including Gapstow Bridge, Wollman's Rink, Sheep Meadow, The Mall, Bethesda Terrace, Conservatory Water, The Ramble, Bow Bridge, Cherry Hill, Strawberry Fields. The southern half of the park highlights Upper West Side, Midtown, & Upper East Side neighborhoods. Flow of this walk includes brief stops and strolling. Combination of flat paths with some hills. Stairs may be avoided on private tours upon special request. With layers and covered heads & fingers, winter is a beautiful time to see a less busy and quieter side to the park. Weather can be tricky this time of year. In situations of ice or wind gusts, Jennifer will refer to weather report & guests. If cancelled, guests may reschedule with Jennifer or be fully refunded. 2 hour walking tour includes warm drink and park time. Please contact Jennifer if a day or time is not available.
