We welcome you to board our families Sailboat "The Alabye" in Deep Cove. Come witness the pristine nature up Indian Arm, with the company of your friends and family. There are spectacular islands to explore, beaches to comb and incredible wildlife so bring your camera. We will start by Sailing under Quarry Rock the popular hiking destination and cruise by some Seals sun-bathing on logs. Then we can check out a stunning Mountain Waterfall that feeds into to Ocean. Another one of our favourite spots is Twin Island, a great place to explore. If you don't feel like getting off the boat you can simply relax on the deck and enjoy the ocean breeze or head down below and get cozy in the warm Cabin with a hot beverage. We have everything you need to stay warm and dry in any weather conditions!
My name is Brendan, I grew up in North Vancouver and I welcome you to board our wonderful family Sailboat “The Alabye”. Our Captain (my Father) Allan Hansell has been navigating the coastal tides of Vancouver his whole life. He recently retired from the Marine Industry and spends his time Sailing all year round. Our Sailboat is fully equipped with a bathroom, kitchen and sleeping quarters down below. As well as lots of comfy places to relax on deck. We also have a Paddleboard and Kayak if you’re feeling adventurous. With our extensive knowledge of the area, and years of experience on the water we hope to show you what makes this part of Vancouver so special!

We will welcome you to board our Sailboat at the Government dock in Deep Cove, then we head North up Indian Arm. We sail under Quarry Rock the popular hiking trail, and past sun-bathing seals. Then we can go to one of the islands or waterfalls where we can anchor up for a picnic, or take the Kayak/Paddle-board out and explore. During low tide there is a secret white sand beach that appears between two Islands we love to visit before heading home!
