At the workshop you will learn all about the different materials, layering and plants that go into a terrarium. I will begin the workshop by introducing myself & a quick summary of the history of terrariums (fun facts included). I will then begin a demo on the different layers, before allowing you guys to get hands on. Once we've all reached the same point, I will then teach you all about the exotic, tropical plants & how to plant them into your terrarium. After that, it's back to you to get stuck in. I'll be around to help you with your terrariums & serving some complimentary prosecco. You'll walk away with your brand new terrarium, expert knowledge about the plants & how to care for them. There's also a free goodie bag which includes care guide & watering pipette.
Hi! I'm Robi. After being diagnosed with anxiety & depression, plants have had a big positive impact on my well-being. After finding the process of planting up a terrarium & working with my hands & plants extremely therapeutic, I decided to share my passion & knowledge. I started LOOF 4 years ago and also work at a local plant shop, Wild Leaf. Over this time I've been researching & honing skills on indoor gardening & houseplants. I've been hosting my workshops for a year & love that I get to share my plant passion & knowledge with everyone!
