My name is Wilson, a homegrown Penangite who has more than 6 year's experience in photography. During the shooting session, I will stroll with you through my favorite and hidden spots in George Town heritage area, we could stop and have a little story telling session about these places. Besides, I am good in giving you advices on posing for great photos so that you will look absolutely stunning in your pictures. Moreover, I am more than happy to share some simple tips on photo taking (simple photography skills) so that you could take good photos with your own gadgets/devices (be it smartphone or camera!). My personal photography shooting style is a mixture between stage posing and candid shot. I am good in capturing full body shot, half body, close-up with background/scenery. You can be all pretty and relax, just leave yourself in my good hands. Lastly, I could always scoop up an invitation for local food or drinks when our session is done – if you’re up for it. A walking Tour Start at the Esplanade where Penang history started, local light breakfast on the seafront. Head to the high court discover the local robin hood-James Logan. Then to the Saint George Church to discover the hidden story of Captain Francis Light. next to Goddess of Mercy Temple to learn some of the local offerings and taboos. Sri Mahamariaman Temple to discover the story of Penang Thaipusam celebration and Kapitan Keling Mosque to bust the myth on some Islamic misconceptions. Will experience some living heritage in town include traditional Joss stick maker. Drink a famous local Indian drink tuak. (Depends on availability) Walking through some hidden alleys that only known by locals. Discovering some of the unique street name and some local history on it. Discovering some unique building structures and the traditional technology of it. Other things to note This will be a casual city walk, guest should be fit at least to walk a fair amount of time. Consider the heat, so prepare lotion or sun block.

I will lead you to walk around my neighbourhood for a little bit before I start the experience. I will show you my collection & the interior design of my vintage house. Finally I will brew 3 different kinds of Chinese tea with a unique tea set and let you as my guests experience tea brewing as well . Chinese Tea Ceremony has the history of thousand years and has been practiced until now. The young Chinese generation in Penang is slowly forgetting about this important culture, they prefer to go to the cafe for western coffee but not traditional tea. The reason why I am doing this is to spread the beauty of the tea ceremony and how it can improve your lifestyle! At first, you will learn about the basic concepts by knowing the tools you need and how to create your personal style tea decoration. Second thing is to learn how to appreciate tea and how to behave during the tea ceremony. Next, I will show you the full details of my movement to brew a tea, I will tell you why I do all the movement and how you will taste the tea. Myself as a Professional Photographer i will also take some cool picture for you when you are brewing during the tea ceremony . We will be starting off with some experiencing the Baba and Nyonya Culture snack. Baba and nyonya is the cross breeding culture between chinese and malay. Next we will be tasting the indian cross breed Fried Noodle also known as Mee Goreng. This noodle incorporate the Chinese cooking method with western ingredients and indian spices. After some heavy food we will be having a short walk to the Thai Reclining Buddha Temple. At here we will be discovering the story of buddhism and buddha. Next we will be Tasting Penang Specialty Desert. The penang Chendol and some asam laksa Next we will take a stroll at the clan jetty area and discover the insider story of the clan jetties Lastly we will going to the Esplanade to try the local fruit salad known as rojak. Other things to note This food tasting experience is non halal

the tour will start at one of penang biggest clan house (khoo kongsi), guest will be shared on the history, culture and heritage of the building Next we will be heading to a different type of clan association, the clan jetty. We will be going to the lesser crowd Tan Jetty to discover more on the life of the local people. Insider access to some of the local hidden prawn fritters. Then we will be going to reclining Buddha temple to discover the variety of Buddhism, local taboo and local praying practice in buddhism Next will be going to the Burmese temple, here we will discover the story of Buddha reaching enlightenment and different of architecture of Burmese and Thai temple. Finally we will be heading to the penang famous Peranakan museum, here we will be discovering the unique architecture, the story of the actual owner and culture of baba and nyonya.
